In the mid-90s, the Polish farm cooperative Zhitnitsa leased the land. The partners, who organized the enterprise, always wanted to engage in agriculture, so when they received the plot of land, they put their heart and soul into it. They even tried to create tools for automating work: the first machine introduced to the production and then sold was a reversible plough. They didn't get rich out of this enterprise but the experience gained was not in vain — a company was set up and later scaled to an international business.
This new tale began in 1995, when the joint-stock company AgroGleb appeared. Over the next few years its development attracted investments, dozens of partners joined it, the first production sites were launched, and hundreds of workplaces were created. And after only three years, the company covered 5 industries from agriculture to metal processing.
In the next 12 years after its founding, the company Agrogleb grew into an efficient and large-scale business. In 2007, it became a merger of several enterprises under the common name AgroGroup, which attracted investments and new shareholders from various industries such as metallurgy, oil refining, and chemical industry.
The year of 2015 was another breakthrough in the history of AgroGroup. The management invested the funds from new shareholders into infrastructure, specialist training and new opportunities for their development. This provided a powerful boost to growth in the trading business, which became the main direction of the company's development for many years to come.
In 2018, AgroGroup had become so large that the management couldn’t handle the implementation of large investments. The enterprise was restructured, and all assets were transferred to new owners.
They were looking for opportunities for development and they successfully found them: entering new markets transformed the company into a global trader of primary goods. The product list included fertilizers, metallurgical products, gas, coal, and oil products. The company had been working with these product groups for over 10 years, and its extensive expertise helped it win the competitive struggle in the global market. The move to the international level was a 100% success!
Today, the company operates under the brand name NODRAL at the forefront of logistics development and export-import activities. We occupy a leading position in key products in commodity trading, as a reliable importer of gas, coal, steel products, mineral fertilizers, and grain. Nodral is outpacing not only European but also global companies.
