Propane/butane mixture
Propane/butane, marked with the symbol B/P, is a mixture of propane and butane gases in a proportion ranging from 18% to 55% propane and 45% butane. It is recommended for use in home cookers and catering.
Butane C4H10, marked with the symbol B – colorless and almost odorless gas, characterized by a high calorific value (above 44 800 kJ/kg), therefore works perfectly as a fuel, for example in various types of stoves. In industry, it is sometimes used as lighters refill or to produce LPG. The density of butane at 15° is not less than 0,564 C (Mg/ m3).

Propane C3H8, marked with the symbol P, is a gas that is much better than propane/butane for outdoor use, for example in tourist stoves used in low-temperature weather.
